Magnum Crankin' & Swim & Big Bait

The C68MH-SB is a swimbait and big bait rod designed for anglers who want to face off against big fish. It focuses particularly on magnum cranks and swimbaits in the 2oz class. Amidst a plethora of 7-foot-plus rods, the aim was to cast with extreme precision into even the most challenging spots.

During retrieval, the rod allows for lively swimming of the lure without pulling it too hard, maintaining a slack line to entice strikes, firmly setting the hook, and ensuring a secure catch without losing the fish. This is achieved through the combination of a "V-shaped taper" tip and a strong, fast taper butt.

The V-shaped taper tip enables easy casting and, during retrieval, the tip dances with the lure's vibration, allowing for slack line retrieval. Not only does the lure swim vibrantly, but the sensitivity during retrieval is also high. When a bite occurs, the tip smoothly enters, providing a window for the hookset, and the robust butt allows for a strong hookset.

The rod's tip is designed to handle jointed baits like twitch baits and reeling jerks naturally, while still being able to handle resistance from 5m and 7m diving magnum cranks without the tip giving in, demonstrating the true essence of the "V-shaped taper."

It's not just limited to lipped hard baits but also pairs well with wire baits, handling heavy spinnerbaits' slow rolls and high-speed retrieves with high adaptability.

Color :

The body color is an ice gray inspired by the color of a heron's belly, which serves as camouflage in urban skies and waterside environments. We aimed to develop a gray with a subtle hue.

Logo :

The SWAGGER logo is inspired by graffiti, which is one aspect of street culture, and features a logo hand-drawn by the art director.
