The rapid succession of casts following the pickup, launching sharply to hit the aimed pinpoint spot accurately – a real bullet. Whether anyone called it or not, the "Machine Gun Cast" (MC) style of Mr. STEEZ, Toshinari Namiki, still retains its brilliance.

At this new milestone, with the 21STEEZ, Namiki has laid out an answer to the diversity demanded by today's bass fishing scene. While the series models excel in mastering specialized fishing techniques, their renowned versatility, driven by their excellent blanks, is further expanded.

Continuing its relentless evolution, the MC series has developed three models in one go: TYPE-I, II, and III. First up, TYPE-I. What advantages were sought here?

Continuing from its predecessor, it has honed its ability to handle regular-class lures, including crankbaits. The softly finished tip linearly follows the wobble's vibration, replicating the lure's natural movement. Namiki likened this to "glass."

The taper, which once bent the entire rod to eject the lure, has been completely redesigned. Rising from the belly, it connects to a beefed-up butt, finishing in a regular-fast taper, allowing for compact swings with light inputs that only rotate the tip, enabling the next Machine Gun style.

Despite concerns about blank thinness leading to twisting, X45 Full Shield, which increases the rigidity proportional to the fourth power of the diameter, prevents and protects, bringing a sharp texture.
