Devotion to Real Fishing
★ The obstacles before us serve as signposts on the path to victory.
★ The god of victory resides within oneself, and in the details.
★ In 2021, a new chapter of STEEZ begins, with layers of depth added.
★ Now, let us carve a new page with our own hands.
The extreme reduction of resin volume is the true 'muscle' of the blank.
When compared to the standard at 100%, SVF COMPILE-X can achieve a maximum sensitivity of 171.4%.
Pursuing ergonomics for a more natural grip holds the key to victory.
The new AIR BEAM SEAT enhances attacking power, ensuring that 21STEEZ never loosens its grip on the angler and the rod, the direct contact points. By offsetting the penetrating blank within the seat, it ensures stability by lowering the center of gravity. The seat is designed with reduced steps between the trigger and the rear, and the hood is angled to fit any grip style comfortably. The trigger itself is designed to be thin and short, allowing the index finger to support during casting and smoothly transition to 2 or 3 fingers for retrieval without interference from the middle or ring fingers.
Steez C67MH-FR "Frogger"
The pinnacle and quintessential frog rod has arrived.
While retaining the name "Frogger," it transitions from the highly aggressive former to cater to anglers enjoying the frog game. Inheriting the sub-name tradition of DAIWA's top-tier bass rods from its predecessor, the Butler, it captures and deepens the axis of evolving modern bass fishing.
In developing the first-ever frog rod under the STEEZ brand, the aim was the unwavering concept of "true orthodoxy." By pouring in dense experience and the pinnacle and cutting-edge technology, the goal was to create a masterpiece beyond compare. It embarked on an endless cycle of trial and error.
When it comes to DAIWA frog rods, it started with the BLACK LABEL Twitchin' Frog series, adding one item this season to make it a total of five items with the BLX-FR model. Starting with the remarkable LG5111MHXB-FR and 631MHFB-FR for maneuverability, it extends to the well-known SG7011 and 7012MHXB-FR with ample power and long stroke.
Short or long? Sandwiched between these outstanding models is the SG671 MHFB-FR. While being too short may limit its application, the once basic 7ft. UP length seems excessive domestically. In pursuit of true versatility on land or boat, the length is set at 6ft. 7in.
The taper, based on the 08HUSTLER, is the soft-tip EX Fast. Condensing functionality of excellent castability and maneuverability into a length that's neither too long nor too short. Equipped with an inclined frame for loading weight on the tip, it features LDB and MNST tops, enabling accurate casting from 1/4 oz. lightweight frogs to regular-sized ones. The former guides are equipped with LRV, highlighting the rod's sublimation to the first PE line fully compatible rod in the STEEZ lineup. Moreover, its quick action in the water with frogs is versatile, showing more dog walking than others at a certain distance, increasing the chances of bites in the targeted zone. During a bite, the soft tip and PE direct connection at the target's mouth reduce resistance with a shock absorber principle, promoting penetration. The strong belly to butt can penetrate the thick hook to the upper jaw, swiftly pulling and peeling off from cover. Even with a strong hookset, the round end reduces the pain from elbow or rib contact.
Its compatibility extends beyond manipulation lures to Texas and leaderless downshots, and excellent compatibility with wire baits. The taper design leaning towards worming successfully connects to excellent versatile performance.
The main material prioritizing sensitivity is SVF NanoPlus. The "ultimate orthodox frog rod" overturning the conventional wisdom of frog rods with its lightweight feel is completed here. DAIWA's years of accumulated material science and taper design brilliance are imbued within.
