DAIWA Shorecast 3 4500 #6

A large spinning reel that can be used for a wide range of purposes, including cage fishing, casting fishing, and bottom fishing. Daiwa's unique special reinforced material for reels, "DS4," is used, and cross wrap is used to prevent line tangling problems. The No. 4 model comes with 4-270m of line, the No. 6 model with 6-200m, and the No. 8 model with 8-140m of line, so it's nice to be able to use it right after purchasing.

A special fiber-reinforced plastic made specifically for reels, created using Daiwa's unique technology.

85mm long handle & T-shaped knob
The long handle and T-shaped knob allow for powerful winding. Uses a screw handle system.

Long stroke 30mm spool
Despite its compact body, it is equipped with a 30mm long stroke spool that provides excellent long-distance casting performance.

Cross wrap
By using a twill winding method with a large winding angle, the line is wound crosswise to prevent it from digging into the spool winding section or slipping off. This method significantly reduces line trouble, especially when using thin threads or PE lines, and at the same time achieves a comfortable cast.

Infinite stopper
A stopper that instantly stops the reel from rotating in the opposite direction with the friction of the roller. A tight feeling without any rattling or play for comfortable operation.
A double stopper system is used in conjunction with a mechanical ratchet type stopper.
