Overview

Stylish Fishing Techniques

To master area fishing, one needs a unique strategy and techniques that differ from natural fields, along with specialized tackle. Developed as a special gear for area fishing, the term 'PRESSO' has its origins in Italian.

At the core of PRESSO's development is the pursuit of how smartly and coolly one can fish. The design, which emphasizes this aesthetic consciousness, activates the angler’s mindset the moment the tackle is set up, infusing it with a strong identity. This dedication to product excellence proposes a new style. By owning it, you become part of a movement.

An Absolute Realm of Sensitivity and Weight Reduction
The grip is made of hollow high-sensitivity carbon. Its hollow structure makes it ultra-lightweight. The resonance of the blank's vibrations provides the ultimate tactile sensitivity. Like the blank, it is constructed by wrapping carbon.

The blank employs SVF Nano Plus, suitable for a flagship model. It features a slender, lightweight blank that combines power and sensitivity.

Next-Generation AGS
The next-generation lightweight and high-sensitivity "AGS" (Air Guide System) features R-frame guides. By selecting the optimal diameter and position, it achieves high-level distance, sensitivity, and trouble-free operation.

SMT (Super Metal Top)
The SMT provides clear feedback during the fall and bottom conditions. It balances visual sensitivity and tactile sensitivity.

MEGATOP
This technology enhances lightweight high sensitivity. With a design reminiscent of the first PRESSO SVF, it features the latest tournament specs. The hollow high-sensitivity carbon grip brings the underwater world, once only imagined, into reality.

A High-End Model Leading You to the Next Stage
This high-end model is set to create a new era.

Daiwa Technologies:

  • AGS The lightweight and high-sensitivity AGS utilizes a carbon frame, which has about three times the rigidity compared to titanium. It provides high sensitivity by transmitting even the slightest signals through the line directly to the blank without absorption. The lightweight nature of carbon improves swing speed and reduces tip wobble, significantly enhancing casting distance and control.
  • SVF NANOPLUS By combining ultra-high-density carbon SVF with Toray Industries' Nanoalloy technology, Daiwa has achieved even greater strength and lightweight characteristics.
  • Expert Sense Simulation [ESS] When a rod bends, it generates energy (restorative force) that tends to return in the opposite direction. This "strain energy" is crucial to rod performance. Daiwa has developed a unique system to analyze and design this energy, allowing them to quantify strengths and weaknesses, and incorporate the angler’s sensory domain into their designs, bringing them closer to what anglers desire.
  • SMT (Super Metal Top) This technology uses an ultra-elastic titanium alloy material at the tip of the rod. It amplifies vibrations like metal, providing sensitivity that carbon materials cannot achieve. It features a delicate tip that bends flexibly to small movements while delivering a tactile response and visible sensitivity to bites.
  • MEGA TOP Made from a carbon solid where fibers and resin are uniformly dispersed, it bends similarly in all directions. As a result, its strength dramatically improves compared to standard carbon solids. This enables the creation of fine, flexible, high-taper tips, providing both tactile sensitivity and visual bite detection.
  • V-JOINT Using a bias-structured carbon sheet at the joint of the rod creates a beautiful, distortion-free bend similar to a one-piece rod. Compared to models without this feature, it significantly enhances power, rigidity, and recovery speed from bending, resulting in an ideal action.
  • X45 To prevent twisting during casting, action, hooking, and fighting, extensive research concluded that the best approach is to wrap a "bias cross" (carbon fibers inclined at ±45°) in addition to the traditional structures (0° and 90°). The incorporation of X45 effectively prevents twisting, leading to a remarkable improvement in power, operability, and sensitivity.

Product Details

  • Hollow Lightweight High-Sensitivity Grip
The carbon grip, reminiscent of the first PRESSO SVF, has evolved. It boasts absolute high sensitivity and lightweight characteristics, featuring a distinct appearance unique to PRESSO that is unmatched by other brands. The grip's thickness is designed to allow a secure hold without needing to grip tightly. Additionally, the fore grip is made with a carbon outer layer, further enhancing sensitivity and operability.
  • AGS (R Frame, C/N Rings)
The guides utilize the 'AGS' system, which features lightweight, high-rigidity R frames along with thin-walled, lightweight C and N rings. By re-evaluating the guide settings, both casting distance and usability with ester lines have significantly improved.
  • Air Sensor Seat
This model incorporates a lightweight, high-sensitivity Air Sensor Seat known as "Neo-Traditional." When combined with the carbon grip, it delivers ultra-sensitivit

Achieving Enhanced Sensitivity:

"Hollow High-Sensitivity Grip, SVF Nano Plus, AGS, Air Sensor Seat"
All of these features combine to achieve an impressive 48% increase in sensitivity compared to the previous model.
