Development Concept :

The development concept for the OVERTHERE EX rod revolves around two main goals. Firstly, it aims to improve the casting distance, which is crucial in surf lure fishing. Secondly, it focuses on providing anglers with the ability to feel the conditions of the lure at the casting destination and manipulate it ideally. Simply casting a lure far isn't enough, nor is being able to manipulate it ideally. By combining these two elements, the potential for success in surf fishing is greatly enhanced. The OVERTHERE EX is a rod that could only be created by Daiwa.

To achieve the goal of feeling the conditions of the lure and bringing out its ideal movement, the OVERTHERE EX features an extremely lightweight and slim blank, along with a lightweight and highly sensitive AGS & AIRSENSOR reel seat. This setup allows anglers to feel the information transmitted from lures in the distance clearly. Additionally, the slim design prevents the blank from being affected by the wind, while the lightweight construction enables anglers to impart subtle actions to lures such as sinking pencils, swim jigs, or lightweight worms.
