Kohga Rods

A high-cost performance rod that shines with the practical fishing performance unique to Kohga.

The standard model of Tai Rubber rods boasts practical fishing performance that satisfies beginners to advanced users alike. Featuring a Mega Top tip (excluding TJ model) with excellent sensitivity and lightness, as well as a blend of power and flexibility with HVF Nano Plus and Braiding X to prevent blank twisting. Available in N (nose), K (kake), D (dendō), C (casting), and TJ (Tai Jig) concepts. While featuring a predominant Kohga pink color scheme, it also shines with accents of red and carbon pattern, exhibiting a luxurious design.

The N and K models feature an original reel seat that is well-suited for small dual-axis (baitcasting) reels. The D model is equipped with a Fuji-made PULS seat, ideal for small electric reels or round reels. The C and TJ models come with an original oval seat. While being standard models, each rod is fitted with a reel seat optimized for its specific setup and requirements.

The guide setting incorporates a 5mm top guide to prevent line entanglement caused by debris or jellyfish underwater. All guides, including those below the top guide, are also 5mm or larger. This design ensures comfortable use even during periods of increased debris or jellyfish activity in the spring.

The rods features a center-cut 2-piece construction, offering excellent portability and convenience. This design enhances ease of transportation, making it comfortable to carry to fishing spots.
