In the early days of Heartland, the "Small Plug Special" was a masterpiece that utilized a full solid blank and popularized finesse plugging. The HL 722LRSB-24 is a rod that has transformed this "Small Plug Special" into a tubular form, incorporating cutting-edge technology and elevating it to modern specifications. By converting to a tubular design, the blank has become lighter, and with a stiffer tip, both operability and castability are improved. The slender, thick-walled tubular blank, once hooked with a fish, shows a bend reminiscent of the full solid "Small Plug Special". A rod has been created specifically for thoroughly enjoying small plugs with ease.
