DAIWA Emeraldas Stoist RT IL (Interline model) 84MLM
Overview
For those captivated by the enchanting gaze of emerald green.
To those mesmerized by the emerald green eyes of the squid. In the early days when night games were the norm, DAIWA launched the world's first dedicated brand for squid fishing, "Emeraldas." With groundbreaking rods, reels capable of handling PE lines, and innovative squid jigs, everything was new, and this novelty established the genre of daytime squid fishing. At the core of it all lies dedication. DAIWA's development team, along with their charismatic pro staff, approach squid fishing with relentless dedication, constantly striving for evolution. They delve into the accessibility and depth of squid fishing, unraveling its seemingly contradictory allure. All in pursuit of encountering the emerald green.
When Yamada Hirohito set out to create it, Stoist began to move.
The concept of Stoist is a fusion of high practical performance and enduring elegance that never ceases to captivate, much like a sophisticated sports saloon for eging rods, born in 2016. Stoist chose to be just that. Therefore, in Yamada's mind, there was another timeline that couldn't be realized at that time. It was a no-compromise, peak-pursuing world where everything was stripped away, akin to a razor-sharp racing machine. Setting itself apart from those frivolously bearing the racing name, Stoist RT (Racing Tune) embodies true monster specs.
What is the effectiveness of the interline?
The effectiveness of the interline refers to the choice between a conventional rod with guides mounted on the outside where the line passes through, and an interline rod where the line passes through the inside of the rod. It can be said that the choice depends on the angler's preference, as neither option is inherently superior to the other. Both have evolved and developed to provide anglers with comfortable fishing experiences. However, there are situations where the interline rod clearly offers smoother performance. For example, when fishing in windy conditions, where the line may become tangled around the rod, making casting and retrieval difficult. The same applies to fishing in rainy conditions or during night fishing when visibility is limited. In such scenarios, the interline rod is undoubtedly effective.
Daiwa introduced rods with the "Interline" structure in 1996. The structure, known as "Linear Interline," garnered attention at the time, but what's remarkable is the significant evolution it underwent in just a few years.
it's simple
The "Interline" technology, often focused solely on the internal structure of the rod, has characteristics beyond just the inside of the rod. Daiwa's "Interline" rods, with the exception of some short rods like squid fishing rods, feature a "Top-In" construction. "Top-In" refers to a thread-through system where, after setting the reel, the wire is extended from the top of the rod, passed through the entrance guide, and the line is pulled through the wire to thread it. This makes threading the line through the rod's interior much easier! Furthermore, each section of the rod is neatly stored in the original rod, preventing the line from tangling or getting caught. Therefore, it's possible to simply extend the rod upon reaching the fishing spot, making setup complete!
1.Set the reel and extend the top section
2.Thread the wire through from the top down to the entrance guide.
3.Thread the main line through the wire that comes out from the entrance guide.
4.Pull the wire out from the top, - setup is complete.
Emeraldas Stoist RT IL 84MLM
The "84MLM" can be considered a masterpiece of interline technology, positioned right between the "81M" and "89LML" models. Its length is the same as the classic "84M" with out guides, offering versatility across various fishing scenarios. By combining an ML tip section with an M butt section, it achieves a slightly milder overall feel compared to the "81M" and a bit more power than the "89LML." It perfectly fills the gap between both models, serving as a next-generation all-around rod capable of excelling in diverse fishing environments.
