1. Gradual Depth Stop

During rig descent, the reel switches to a slow drop before reaching the preset depth stop, preventing wary wakasagi from sensing anything unusual and helping improve catch rates.
The slow-drop distance can be set to six levels (0.3 / 0.5 / 0.7 / 1.0 / 1.5 / 2.0 m), enabling a more aggressive approach.
The slow-drop speed can also be selected from six levels depending on sinker weight and fish activity.

2. Water Depth Counter Adjustment

By matching the reel’s depth counter to the depth display on your fish finder, you can target the desired depth more easily and with greater accuracy.

3. Master Invitation (Pro Jigging Mode)
The reel reproduces jigging patterns supervised by expert anglers. Ideal when the bite is slow or when fishing with two rods to improve results.
Five expert jigging patterns are available, with adjustable “wait time” (1–5 seconds) and “jigging length,” allowing you to create and save your own custom pattern.

④ Follow-Up Retrieve

The “Follow-Up Retrieve” allows you to lift the rig very slowly, passing it through the depth where fish have bitten, aiming for multiple-hook catches. Retrieve speed can be adjusted in 10 steps.

⑤ Adjustable Power Reduction for Boat-Edge Stop

In addition to the conventional boat-edge reduction stop (Po2), there are three modes:

• Po1: Slow – effective for preventing early line break-offs near the boat or when fishing on ice.
• Po2: Normal – standard boat-edge reduction stop.
• Po3: Power – effective when targeting multiple large wakasagi bites.
  Users can select the most suitable mode depending on conditions.

⑥ Full Reset of Settings
If counter errors occur or you feel unsure about the settings, all functions can be reset to their default values.

Product Features

Adjustable “Stable Legs”

Prevents the reel from lifting during high-speed retrieves. Safe to leave the rod unattended during Follow-Up Retrieve or Expert Jigging. Leg length can be adjusted according to usage.
Not compatible with “Stable Legs” models released before 2018.
Compatible with 2019 Crystia CRT series and their Stable Legs.

Tall, Clear LCD Panel with No Dead Space

• Depth counter measures in 10 cm increments.
• Battery warning: When power runs low, the depth counter flashes.

Spool Designed to Avoid Backlash Snagging

• Spool screw is approximately 1.2 mm lower than previous models.
  Exclusive to Crystia Wakasagi AIR; not compatible with MR/SR/CR/CR-PT/CRT series.

V-Spool

• The V-shaped spool ensures even line winding and smooth line release during rig descent.
• Excellent rotation performance allows even light rigs to descend smoothly without snagging.
  Compatible with CRT series spools; not compatible with SR/CR/CR-PT series or E-series spools.

“Quick Retrieve” and Continuous Retrieve

• Press the side switch briefly → performs a small lift (“Quick Retrieve”).
• Hold for more than 1 second → continuous retrieve, even after releasing the switch.
• Press the switch again to stop the retrieve.

Line Stopper

• Three line stoppers on top of the spool allow the rig to automatically stop at the same depth each time, convenient for targeting the layer where fish are active.

Boat-Edge Stop Guide

• Prevents tip tangling during excessive retrieval with the switch-type boat-edge stop.

Clutch Lever

• Move lever to the right → clutch “Free” (spool free to let line out).
• Move lever to the left → clutch “Lock” (spool locked, retrieval possible).
• Retrieval switch on the side of the body can also lock the spool.

5 mm Rod Tip Compatible

• Can attach rod tips with a 5 mm diameter. Insert fully and ensure it is secure. Check occasionally during use, as vibration may loosen the tip.

Standard Equipment: Crystia Wakasagi Stable Stand & Aluminum Spool AIR

• Limited-color model.
• Attaching the stand improves handling and stability of the wakasagi reel.
• Reel weight with stand: approx. 125 g.

5 mm Rod Tip Compatible (Repeated)

• Can attach 5 mm diameter rod tips. Ensure full insertion and secure fixation. Check occasionally during use due to vibration.
