HYPERDRIVE DESIGN
The next-generation design concept for bait (double-axis) reels, which significantly improves the standard of all basic performance with the aim of maintaining high initial performance for a long time. The Hyper Drive Design is composed of up to four technologies. Hyper Double Support, which requires the Hyper Drive Digigear to maintain smooth rotation for a long time and assists the gear drive to provide strong and light winding. Hyper Armed Housing, which strongly supports the internal structure and is resistant to bending and distortion. Hyper Tough Clutch with an insulating structure that continues to operate even in harsh locations and drastically reduces adhesion due to salt. The synergistic effect of these technologies continues to provide stable performance in any field.
HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR
A newly designed gear system that pursues sustained strong and smooth rotation. This is DAIWA's unique technology that achieves an increased meshing rate without reducing the module (size) of the gear teeth, which directly affects durability, allowing the initial smoothness to be maintained for a long time.
HYPER ARMED HOUSING
A housing system that firmly supports the internal structure with high rigidity and precision, producing a precise winding feel and power. The use of metal materials for the frame, which is the key, is a prerequisite, and in combination with side plates and set plates, it makes it possible to continue to demonstrate basic performance for even longer.
The TATULA TW 100 uses aluminum for the frame, achieving a tough housing specification.
HYPER TOUGH CLUTCH
Not only does this clutch system have crisp on/off performance that continues to slide thousands or tens of thousands of times, but it also has extremely few problems even in highly saline seawater. This cutting-edge insulation structure has already reduced the number of repairs due to sticking in harsh saltwater environments by 99% compared to our previous model.
TWS (T-WING SYSTEM)
TWS has succeeded in significantly reducing the resistance of the line guide close to the spool, where the spool rotation speed is the highest. By reducing the resistance to the casting distance, not only is the casting distance and controllability improved, but the fall is also faster and backlash is reduced. This has realized the possibility of a new level wind not only when winding, but also when casting.
UTD (Ultimate Tournament Drag)
This is a Daiwa drag system that eliminates the initial bite when the drag first starts working, achieving a smooth drag without stickiness (unevenness), while also providing maximum drag power the more you tighten it.
Zero Adjuster
First, adjust the "zero adjuster" and set the "zero spool rattle". Thanks to the evolution of the magnetic brake, it is now possible to control all lures with just the mag dial.
The "zero adjuster" is a mechanism that allows you to enjoy fishing comfortably without malfunctions while fishing by adjusting it to the "zero setting" before starting fishing.
*The "zero spool rattle" setting is the setting that does not push the spool while leaving a slight rattle (about 0.2 mm).
Brake characteristics
Equipped with MAGFORCE-Z brake. While retaining the magnet structure of Magforce, the inductor rotor operates smoothly according to the spool rotation speed, making it possible to strengthen the brake in the first half of the cast and weaken it in the second half, resulting in a smooth casting feel. A proven brake mechanism that features easy adjustment of braking force and resistance to external environments.
Spool characteristics
Equipped with a φ34mm (width 24mm) super duralumin spool. Following the 20TATULA SV TW, the "super duralumin" spool has improved response and castability, achieving stable long-distance casting performance for plugs and hard lures, including big baits from 5g to 110g (approximately 4oz).
Equipped with TWS
The non-resistance range of the line is greatly expanded. This means better flight, improved control, faster form, and less backlash. TWS improves all the basic performance of a baitcasting reel.
Contributes to comfortable winding
90mm aluminum crank handle + high-grip I-type power knob.
