DAIWA 23 Lexa LT3000-XH

The tough reel "LEXA" was developed with harsh fishing scenes in mind, and the drive gear, which is the heart of the reel, is equipped with a tough digital gear.

The body material, which is the outer core, is made of high-strength aluminum. AIRDRIVE DESIGN
The Air Drive Design is a design concept for next-generation spinning reels that pursues the angler's desire to operate the lure as they wish. The Air Drive Design is composed of up to four technologies. The 23LEXA is equipped with AIRDRIVE ROTOR, AIRDRIVE BAIL, and AIRDRIVE SPOOL.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR (made of ZAION V) "Reasons for pursuing low inertia"
DAIWA continues to work on improving the rotational response of spinning reel rotors. Based on its own theory, DAIWA has derived a new shape that looks as if it was cut directly from a sphere. By thoroughly removing unnecessary material from there, it has succeeded in significantly reducing the weight while maintaining rigidity. This has dramatically improved the lightness of winding, which leads to improved operability and sensitivity. The 23LEXA is equipped with an AIRDRIVE ROTOR made of ZAION V. The "strong and light" rotor achieves powerful winding and light winding.

AIRDRIVE BAIL "For even less trouble"
The 23LEXA uses a new wire-type AIRDRIVE BAIL. It has achieved significant weight reduction while maintaining the necessary strength during actual fishing. The weight reduction of the rotor unit including the bail contributes to a significant reduction in rotational inertia. The rotation response has been improved and operability has been improved. The arm lever part has also adopted a new shape, significantly reducing line tangles. It prevents line trouble and supports more comfortable fishing.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL "New design that reflects the future"
A thin-walled design that thoroughly removes unnecessary material and pursues lightweight design based on meticulous strength calculations. No compromise is allowed, not only in the thin-walled design of the line winding part and spool skirt part, but also in the hollowing out of the inside of the spool. The lightweight spool improves operability such as light winding and casting. In addition, a new drag sound mechanism with low operating resistance has been developed. Improved response when the drag is activated.

MAGSEALED
Daiwa's unique waterproof structure that shuts out seawater and dust by creating a wall of magnetic oil, maintaining the light and smooth initial rotation performance for a long time. This technology is installed in the pinion part of the 23LEXA. Waterproofing and durability have been further improved, achieving high waterproofing.

ATD TYPE-L "Different tracking ability"
The ATD TYPE-L has further improved the initial response of spinning reels while retaining the ATD's characteristic of continuing to work smoothly in accordance with the pull of the fish. Tuned with a focus on the smooth start required when using light lines, it further reduces the load on the line and allows for quick landing without excessive stress on the fish. In consideration of use in tougher environments, the large sizes (5000 and 6000) use a highly durable ATD (carbon washer specification).

TOUGH DIGI GEAR
A strong heart that can withstand harsh environments is essential. It uses "TOUGH DIGI GEAR" that maintains smooth rotation for longer. It can be used without hesitation even on large fish.

LC-ABS (Long Cast-ABS) "Even further"
While keeping the idea of reducing contact resistance of ABS II, the contact point is brought forward to achieve smoother line release. The ring part is brought forward, making it harder for the line to get caught on the ring, and it has improved the casting distance and trouble-free by about 5% more than the conventional ABS II. It is the next generation ABS spool that realizes LC (= LONG CAST).

Return Perfect Line Stopper
A new shape of line stopper that can be used with thin threads such as PE and thick threads such as leaders. The long shape saves space vertically and contributes to reducing the weight of the spool.

High-rigidity aluminum body
The body material is made of aluminum, which boasts high rigidity. It suppresses distortion of the body and can be used safely even in tough conditions.

Handle knob
The right settings are applied to suit various fishing situations. A wide range of medium to large items are equipped with a power round type EVA knob as standard, anticipating the high-load fishing required for LEXA, which uses a high-rigidity aluminum body. The round-shaped knob with high winding torque supports winding under high load.
