Daiwa LB reel basic model "Cygnus" appears with a new monocoque body!

The first point of the "monocoque body" is "silky rotation". By improving the body rigidity and the gear support accuracy, "silky rotation" has been realized.
And "up winding power". Winding power has been improved by making the gear larger.
Furthermore, "improved rotation durability". Rotation durability performance has also been improved by making the gear larger.
Finally, "improved waterproofness". The improved airtightness of the monocoque body and the high water resistance of the Mag Sealed have improved the waterproofness of the body.

ZAION V is used for the body material and ZAION is used for the brake lever.

The newly developed XH model with a gear ratio of 6.6 (99 cm) has been released.
The monocoque body realizes even higher gears, and you can choose between two gear ratios: the XH model, which allows for quick retrieval and exchange of tackle, and the H model with a gear ratio of 6.2 (93 cm).

Spool compatibility is continued and it is compatible with past spools.

MONOCOQUE BODY
Strong and durable technology, monocoque body. Conventionally, spinning reels generally support both ends of the drive gear with the body and body cover, and then secure them with several screws. In order to further improve precision and rigidity, the monocoque body eliminates the body cover and secures the gear by screwing a high-precision plate directly into the body. This improves the precision of the gear support, and also improves rigidity and airtightness. Furthermore, by utilizing the space previously taken up by the screw, we have succeeded in expanding the size of the drive gear to its maximum. The monocoque body means MONO (one) - COQUE (shell). The completely new shape, which symbolizes the strength of a single shell, breaks the conventional wisdom of reel structure.

BITURBO BRAKE SYSTEM
The adoption of titanium discs has doubled the braking efficiency compared to conventional models, providing strong braking force with just a light squeeze of the lever. The time it takes to reach the required braking force after squeezing the lever is also reduced to 1/4 of the conventional time.

MAGSEALED
DAIWA's unique waterproof structure creates a wall of magnetic mag oil in the gap between the body and rotor, blocking out seawater, dust, and other elements.

ATD
The ATD operates smoothly and keeps working smoothly in response to the pull of the fish. It pursues smooth start and tracking, allowing you to concentrate on the fight without worrying about the drag setting.

AIR ROTOR
The unique arch shape distributes the load on the rotor, achieving a significant weight reduction with the same strength. The rotor balance is also improved, resulting in a lighter rotation with good response.

ZAION V
To make reels lighter and stronger, the carbon hybrid resin developed for this purpose is Zion V. By precisely controlling the amount of carbon used in the hybrid, we have achieved a lighter weight than metal and a high level of strength comparable to metal, while also giving it versatility that allows it to be mounted on many reels. It inherits the essence of Zion, which can be said to be the maximum spec of carbon hybrid resin.

Monocoque body
The monocoque body has improved the basic performance of the LB reel. The improved body rigidity provides silky rotation. The reel is more durable thanks to the ability to mount larger, thicker gears than before. The screwless body structure has improved waterproofing, and other major improvements have been made.

Spool compatibility
Any spool with a push-type drag knob can be attached (except for the 4000LBD and Onaga Monster).

Large diameter drive gear
Compared to the 19 Cygnus, the drive gear diameter has increased by 1mm (31mm to 32mm, 3% increase), and the gear thickness has increased from 5mm to 5.45mm (9% increase), resulting in increased strength and durability.

Explanation
