DAIWA Dynastar 250
Overview
The rigidity of the super metal frame allows for silky and powerful winding. It can be used all over the country, regardless of region or fishing method. Recommended for those who want a reel that can be used for various purposes on a boat or for small fishing.
The 150 size has a high-speed winding specification with a gear ratio of 5.8 that emphasizes quick response. It is a convenient reel that can be used for a wide range of hand-winding fishing from filefish to red sea bream, with a double handle equipped with an EVA knob that provides excellent technical operability and quick response. The 250 and 300 have a gear ratio of 5.1 that emphasizes power, assuming that both the tackle and the target will become larger. In addition to the generous line capacity, the long handle with balancer and large knob specifications make it an excellent reel that can handle a wide range of targets.
Super Metal Frame: Super Metal, which has overwhelming rigidity compared to resin frames, prevents the frame from warping or shaking under high loads such as when fighting a fish. The angler's power is transmitted without loss, allowing for smooth and powerful reeling.
Speed Shaft: When the spool is free, the spool and shaft are separated, and the shaftless design provides high rotation performance, allowing the lure to quickly reach the desired depth.
Shelf Clutch: The clutch is OFF (the spool is free) only while you are holding down the clutch lever with your finger, and the clutch is automatically ON as soon as you release your finger. Because it eliminates the need to turn the handle to turn the clutch ON, it provides outstanding quick response in fishing where you need to frequently readjust the fishing depth or where delicate and accurate fishing is essential.
Spool Click: When turned ON, this mechanism makes a clicking sound when the spool rotates. It will let you know when a big fish is hooked and the drag is pulled out. It is also useful when you want to apply a little tension when the clutch is released.
Synchro Level Wind: A mechanism that links the left and right reciprocating motion of the level wind (line guide) according to the rotation of the spool both when dropping the rig and when reeling it in. It maintains a neatly wound line condition and ensures a smooth and high-speed rig drop.
