Recessed reel foot
The split reel foot pushes the spool downward, making it possible to achieve a lower profile.

Reducing the size of ball bearings reduces resistance, but they are weaker when it comes to load bearing.
Abu Garcia has redesigned the ball raceway grooves of the bearings and succeeded in developing a ball bearing with low rotational resistance of the same size as before.
Low trajectory pitching and long distance casting performance have been improved.
