APIA Grandage Atlas Blue Runner 105HHH/PS

A series that aims at blue-runners from the shore in every scene, from the beach to the embankment.
The GRANDAGE ATLAS BLUE RUNNER series is the successor to the GRANDAGE XD, developed to target blue-runners from the shore. By using Toray 3rd generation carbon TORAYCA®T1100G as the main material of the blank, the casting distance of the lure and the stickiness of the blank are projected. In addition to blanks, we have improved all performances, including rod balance, joints, and blank exteriors. The GRANDAGE ATLAS BLUE RUNNER was born to kill trophy-sized blue-runners under limited conditions for anglers called shores.

PS = plugging special. A high-power model for targeting trophy-sized amberjack and tuna on rock shores. It features a supple tip part that is less likely to cause errors in plug operation and a blank with a slightly faster action than 106HH/PS to support fighting in the shallow zone. The guide setting also supports thicker threads.

Material: TORAYCA® T1100G / M40J / T800S /

With the advent of "M40X" and "T1100G", the performance of high-modulus (M40X) and medium-modulus (T1100G) materials has greatly improved. The appearance of TORAYCA® 3rd generation carbon will bring drastic changes to the rock shore game.

Joint: Parallel (NANO JOINT)

The new joint system "NANO JOINT" developed by Apia eliminates the joint tension that is the weak point of 2-piece rods.

By installing NANO ALLOY® technology, we have achieved a bending curve that is as close to one piece as possible.

Exterior: Shield tech 

APIA's original finish "Shield Tech" is a thin, abrasion-resistant special tape wrapped around the entire length to protect the blank from external damage.
