ANGLE Pacific Bay Rod Finish 2oz Kit
Overview
Epoxy paint to be applied to winding threads.
* When using epoxy paint, curing failure may occur due to the following matters. Please be careful when using it.
1 Insufficient stirring
When stirring using a cup, etc., the epoxy present in the cup will always cause insufficient stirring.
Use the epoxy in the center of the cup as much as possible.
Also, after stirring, leave it for a few minutes for millet removal and aging.
2 Crystallization of the main material The main material crystallizes
at low temperatures. White crystals have accumulated on the bottom of the container and appear to have settled, but they
can be used without problems by heating (boiled at 50 degrees for about 4 to 5 minutes) and stirring.
3 Deterioration of the
hardened material A part of the hardened material may react with carbon gas in the atmosphere and change into a substance called carbonate.
Items that have deteriorated may not be cured and may appear on the coated surface as poor curing.
Epoxy materials can be used for several years if they are well managed, so take
measures such as turning the container upside down to prevent air from entering.
4 Solvent and cleaner management When reusing a brush or cup that has been used once, it is recommended to
wash it well and dry it well before using it, or to dispose of it. Even if you use the brush cleaner we handle for cleaning, if the cleaner remains on the brush or cup, it will cause poor curing.
5 Basic management of paint and painted surface
Tools necessary for painting must be used in a clean condition.
Also, the painted surface must be clean.
Sebum on the hands and hair can also cause poor painting. If necessary, degreas with alcohol.
