The concept of the new model "Black Arrow Unlimited" is a significant improvement in casting performance and sensitivity. While retaining the traditional fighting performance, the goal was to create a "go-getter" rod that enables anglers to engage in more aggressive fishing by significantly enhancing casting performance and sensitivity.

To achieve this, we first conducted a fundamental reassessment of the blank. While we have been using high-modulus carbon blanks, it's important to note that high-modulus carbon equals high resilience. Beyond a certain threshold, this resilience can lead to stiffness, making it extremely difficult to balance with flexibility.

In practice, if a rod has too much resilience, the rebound speed from the bent state during casting may surpass the angler's casting speed. Also, if a rod lacks flexibility and is too stiff, it can result in a decrease in hooking rate during short bites, increased stretching or breaking of the hook, and unnecessary jumping, all significant causes of lost fish and potentially thwarting the angler's desired catch.

Therefore, we continued to utilize the balance of 40t carbon, which excels in resilience, relative to the angler's movement speed during fishing trips. We maximized the thickness and usage ratio of the blank and employed a finer and more gradual taper from the blank tip to the base, allowing us to achieve a balance between high resilience and flexibility, significantly reducing the burden on anglers. As a result, we successfully enhanced our unique rod performance pursued by AIMS even further.

The guides selected for installation are from Fuji Industrial Co., Ltd., chosen for their contribution to rod performance. We continue to use the reliable Sic rings, which excel in total balance. Additionally, we have combined them with the 2018 new product S rings, known for their small frame size and significant contribution to reducing the rod's weight, creating a titanium frame model.

The Black Arrow has evolved as a rod for saltwater fields such as seabass fishing, but it has also received considerable support from anglers targeting various species of fish both domestically and internationally, including trout and black bass.

Therefore, aiming to create a rod that does not limit the potential of anglers and exhibits maximum rod performance in various target fish and field conditions, we have set the action to be versatile, naming the new series the "Unlimited" series.

The main features of the "Black Arrow Unlimited" model are as follows:
① "Precision Casting" - the ability to accurately penetrate the intended pinpoint spot.
② "Long Cast" - a wide range of easy casting from light lures to heavy lures with the corresponding casting weight.
③ "Dimensional High Sensitivity" - Clear sensitivity to subtle changes in currents and the feeling of fish touching the lure that were previously undetectable.
④ "Lightweight and Improved Balance" - Reduction in rod weight and improved balance when reel is attached.
⑤ "Enhanced Hooking Performance" - Improvement in the ability to bring fish closer due to strengthened torque and power from the rebound force after bending.

This shore casting rod is designed to tackle the challenging environment of rocky areas where black seabream are commonly found, making it one of the most demanding saltwater fishing rods. It excels in handling long casts and casting accuracy even in strong winds, as well as providing responsiveness to intense jumps and head shakes, and power during landing. By fully leveraging the benefits of the high-resilience blanks produced using the micro-pitch manufacturing method adopted in the Unlimited series, this model achieves a significant overall performance improvement compared to previous models. Its exceptional ability to penetrate pinpoint spots is particularly outstanding. With the tip's movement converging instantly from any casting direction, it allows for precise, low-trajectory casts, crucial for determining successful catches.
