Ergonomic Design
ZENON's reel body is designed with an ergonomic design. In general bait casting reels, it was common sense to make the rear end positions of the left and right side plates the same. In ZENON, only the rear end of the palming side plate is moved forward. The clutch bar is designed asymmetrically to prevent accidental "pushing" due to palm interference when palming. As a result, palming and clutch operability have been dramatically improved.

Pinion support structure
The powerful winding of the handle is transmitted in the order of drive gear → pinion gear → spool. Even slight distortion in each part of this rotation transmission will have a negative effect on the rotation. The pinion support structure reliably supports the outer part of the pinion gear with the crank side plate via a ball bearing. This structure achieves highly efficient winding and a significant improvement in gear feel. Furthermore, when casting, optimal spool free and castability are achieved by maintaining a constant appropriate clearance between the inner surface of the pinion gear and the rotating spool shaft.

Large diameter drive gear
The ZENON series is not just about making it smaller and lighter, but also about improving the durability of the gear to make fishing more comfortable. The ZENON is equipped with a large diameter drive gear. Its diameter is 107% compared to the REVO3. The BEAST uses a special brass material with ultra-high strength and durability. In addition, the synergistic effect with the pinion support structure has improved the efficiency, lightness and comfort of winding and the durability of the gear ring by about 20%.

High-strength durametal frame and crank side plates
The aluminum alloy durametal frame and crank side plates provide the toughest and most precise gearing support, making them ideal for big bait fishing in FW and SW, or when the stiffest fishing is required.

Carbon Matrix Drag & Drag Clicker
Abu Garcia's unique carbon matrix drag washer allows for higher drag force while maintaining smooth performance over a wide range. By introducing a clicker, you can hear the clicking sound to indicate the speed of the drag, allowing you to keep an eye on line breaks while you're fishing.

Salt shield ball bearing

MAGTRAX III Brake
MAGTRAX III brake has a reliable and simple structure. Its simple structure can reliably prevent backlash. You can also adjust the number of internal magnets to suit your casting skills. Its characteristic is that the brake works reliably from the moment the lure is released during casting, so backlash can be reliably prevented even when using lures with high air resistance in headwinds. It also makes it possible to aim at a pinpoint when pitching a lightweight rig or casting a short distance. BEAST has 10 magnets set as default.

4mm thick, 95mm dura carbon handle
