4.8 exudes 'elegance'. The Branshiela 4.8UL series introduces a lineup of limited models. The 4.8UL, known for its casting accuracy and maneuverability, incorporates handmade-style cosmetics and a wood + aluminum grip, satisfying not only the feel of use but also the sense of ownership.

The concept of the 4.8UL is to combine the 'distance' of the 5.2UL and the 'maneuverability' of the 3.9UL. Its bend helps to pick up missed release points and reduce backlashes. The delayed return enhances the lure's effectiveness on the cast.

Another feature is its intense 'tension', which facilitates actions like shaking and twitching while still achieving casting distance you wouldn't expect from a 4-foot rod.

[Reel Seat]

Fishman's original reel seat is made of aluminum.

[Wood Grip + Wood Forenut]

Wooden end grip + forenut are standard equipment. They provide not only the feel and appearance but also allure anglers with the 'sound' when setting and tightening the reel. Grip material: rosewood (danboku). It is characterized by its hard texture and is used in high-quality furniture due to its hardness, density, gloss, and minimal curvature.

[Butt Part Cosmetics]

Handmade-style thread and decorative wrapping are used. The logos and product names are in cursive, designed in a handmade style. Traditional yet somewhat new.

[Anniversary Engraving]

This product does not have '10th Anniversary' engraving.

[Blanks]

During practice, the blanks impress with their rigidity, but during casting or bites, they bend due to the internal construction, which increases casting distance and improves the ability to hook fish.

* * * 4 Steps to Securely Fix the Reel 

Beams Blancsierra 4.8UL LIMITED employs a metal reel seat, so there may be cases where it cannot be securely fixed if tightened improperly. However, following the 4 steps below will ensure a firm fixation.

1. Check for any foreign objects inside.
2. After confirming nothing is present, place the reel foot in the center of the reel seat.
3. Firmly press the foot downward.
4. Tighten.

* * * Please be aware of joint loosening.

Due to the nature of pack rods, repeated casting may cause the joints to loosen.

If each joint is not securely connected, it can lead to damage to the joint area or even rod breakage.

Applying ferrule wax can prevent loosening during casting and protect the joint area from damage caused by moisture intrusion.

After casting several times, it is recommended to check for any loosening of the joints and to use ferrule wax
