A reinforced versatile model with added power and a regular action design. Built on a medium-modulus carbon-based structure with increased blank wall thickness, it enhances restoring power while maintaining a smooth, non-abrupt regular action. This combination allows the rod to comfortably handle a wide range of lure weights and fishing styles with ample flexibility.

It is designed not only for standard light game targets such as Aji and Mebaru, but also for a wide variety of fishing styles that go beyond traditional category boundaries, enabling anglers to enjoy multiple species and techniques in a highly comfortable and efficient way.

NEOS-79MH+R-T (Tubular Tip)

A high-power, highly versatile model designed for near- to long-range fishing using rigs and lures up to 30g. It delivers a very “meaty” and torque-rich feel, making it a true heavy-duty light game rod.

It supports a wide range of applications: heavy jig head rigs for large Mebaru, long-distance Aji fishing using heavy float rigs or Carolina rigs, light shore jigging and plugging for cutlassfish and medium-sized pelagic species, as well as bottom-focused rockfish and flatfish fishing. This makes it a highly versatile rod that extends well beyond traditional light game boundaries.

Features

Blank

The blank combines refined taper engineering developed through the Salty Sensation lineage with a strong blend of 24t and 30t medium-modulus carbon materials. This creates a sharp, responsive feel that transitions into smooth, controlled bending under load while generating strong torque. To enhance sensitivity and reduce weight, the entire blank is left unpainted and unsanded except for the butt logo area.

Guide System

Equipped with lightweight and highly reliable Fuji titanium-frame SiC-S guides. The tip guide is intentionally finished without thread wrapping, using only minimal treatment to eliminate unevenness and maximize tip sensitivity.

Joint

Features a put-over joint designed with minimal length to ensure smooth bending performance while maintaining low overall weight.

Grip Design

The foregrip is made entirely from an ultra-light carbon sleeve, maximizing sensitivity transmission.

The Fuji IPS reel seat combined with an ultra-compact EVA center grip provides excellent vibration feedback, a natural and comfortable hold, and secure grip during fights for sustained focus.

The EVA rear grip is compactly designed to reduce instability during lure operation caused by rear weight. It is finished with an ultra-light Neo original end plate.
