It is no exaggeration to say that the single most important performance factor in an ajing rod is sensitivity. Moreover, ajing demands different types of sensitivity depending on the action—resistance sensitivity, operational sensitivity, and vibration sensitivity—each pointing in a different direction.

Building upon the previous model, long trusted as the right arm of dedicated ajing anglers thanks to its overwhelming sensitivity, this new generation has been completely reconstructed from the ground up through repeated field testing.

By prioritizing materials and technologies that maximize sensitivity—such as ultra–high modulus blanks, titanium frame + Torzite ring guides, and Feedback Booster Technology—while further eliminating excess weight around the grip area, the rod achieves an average weight reduction of approximately 25% compared to its predecessor (at equivalent length).

The result is a sensation as if the invisible underwater world becomes clearly visible—an exceptionally transparent level of “Clear Sensitivity.”

Fuji Titanium Frame Torzite Ring Guides (ALL TORZITE)

Equipped from tip to butt with Fuji’s lightest and most line-protective guide system in their history: titanium frame Torzite ring guides. The butt guide utilizes the lightweight-focused AT series to further enhance overall weight reduction.

Unsanded Micro Pitch Blanks

Constructed using a high-compression micro-pitch wrapping process to reconcile strength and lightness—two inherently conflicting elements. The unpainted, unsanded finish further maximizes blank performance, drawing out its full potential.

Feedback Booster Technology

A system designed to enhance vibration transmission by intentionally leaving an opening at the grip end. This allows vibrations to escape in a single direction and resonate more efficiently, boosting sensitivity. The ultra-clear feedback generated by the high-modulus blanks and Torzite guides is amplified and transmitted directly to the angler’s hand.

Hard Solid Tip

Material: 30t Carbon Fiber

A 30t carbon solid tip that maintains crystal-clear sensitivity while offering excellent load-following performance.

• Models under 6ft are equipped with a longer solid tip (380 mm total length), optimized for close-range fishing.
• Models 6ft 6in and longer feature a shorter solid tip (260 mm total length), designed for long-distance applications.

Kevlar® Fiber Reinforcement

Kevlar® fiber—five times stronger than steel at the same weight and widely used in military helmets and body armor—is composited from the butt section through the grip area. With low elongation and excellent impact resistance, it reduces rod twisting and deformation while maintaining a light and responsive feel.

Grip & Metal Parts

While retaining the TZ series’ identity through strategic use of metal components, the reel seat is formed using SKDPS + carbon pipe construction. By shortening the overall length of the grip to the absolute minimum, the rod achieves an average weight reduction of approximately 25% compared to the previous model (at equivalent length).

C-Cross Joint

A reinforced spigot ferrule (insertion joint) strengthened with specially processed carbon tape. This design maintains strength while eliminating the additional weight typically added by epoxy and thread wraps, contributing to further weight reduction.
