Equipped with X-FORCE100 blanks made from Toray’s 3rd-generation carbon, the RIGA delivers increased strength, resilience, and sensitivity—while remaining impressively lightweight. From casting to landing, every phase of your fishing game is enhanced with next-level performance.

All models feature a 3-piece construction for mobility and portability, along with “Shield Tech” to protect the blanks from unavoidable minor scratches during use. With ample power, these rods are built to handle even mid-sized pelagic species.

X-FORCE100 – 100% Pure Carbon Innovation

Industry-first "X-FORCE100" construction
Unlike traditional manufacturing, which layers carbon fibers from separate prepregs in multiple directions, X-FORCE100 uses a single prepreg sheet with 45° crossed carbon fibers, maximizing torsional strength.
By eliminating the previously necessary glass scrim, APIA has succeeded in creating a rod made from 100% pure carbon—enhancing strength, sensitivity, and precision.

NANO JOINT – The Future of Multi-Piece Rods

Multi-piece rods have long suffered from heavy joints, poor balance, reduced strength, and loosening during use.
APIA’s original "NANO JOINT" system, developed with Nanoalloy® technology, solves all of these issues.

The put-in style joint offers:

• Superior strength
• Weight reduction
• Perfect balance
• Smooth bending curve rivaling traditional spigot joints

With taper differences finely polished to tolerances of just 0.002–0.005 mm, joint loosening during fishing is greatly reduced.
The 3-piece configuration of all BLACKFIN models is made possible by this high-precision joint system.
Note: Do not use ferrule wax with NANO JOINT. Use the included assist sheet for assembling/disassembling joints.

SHIELD TECH – Blank Protection Tape

To prevent minor scratches from repeated transport and rugged expeditions, SHIELD TECH protective tape is applied to the blank, extending the rod’s longevity and preserving its appearance.

The Premium Warranty covers unlimited repairs for a fixed handling fee for up to 5 years after the product is discontinued.
Please note: Warranty is void without the original warranty card.

Storage Notes:
If the rod gets wet, dry it thoroughly with a clean towel.
Storing it while wet or in high humidity may cause blisters on the painted surface.
