Ultra-thin shaft hook that uses “flexibility” to catch short bites
This ultra-thin hook is perfect for targets such as grunt, rockfish, small bluefish, and sea bream when doing super light jigging. The long taper point design allows for quick hooking of even the tiniest bites that occur when a lightweight jig falls. The pocket shape holds the lure firmly in place after hooking, and it is strong enough that you won’t notice how thin it is. This hook also comes with a tube that allows you to easily create an assist hook by tying it on the outside at the fishing spot (on a boat). When attacking rough rocky areas with a light tackle and a thin line, if a thick hook with excessive strength gets caught on the rocks, it will lead to the loss of the jig or line. With this in mind, the hook has been heat-treated and its hardness adjusted so that it can bend and retrieve without breaking the line as much as possible. The surface is silver-plated for excellent rust resistance.
