HAGANE Gear
A drive gear made by pressing a block of metal under high pressure and finishing the tooth surface with micron-level precision without cutting. Our unique technology of precision cold forging produces high-precision, high-strength gears, allowing for a smooth reeling experience.

X-SHIP
Larger diameter drive gear, optimal arrangement of pinion gears, and two-point support by bearings. These make the gear meshing stronger, maximizing the reeling force while maintaining light reeling. It conveys detailed information about the changing underwater conditions while enabling powerful fights.

HAGANE Body
The lightweight and highly rigid metal body made of aluminum and magnesium firmly suppresses bending, distortion, and twisting of the reel. It protects the delicate gear combination and enables smooth reeling.

X Protect
Waterproof structure with water-repellent treatment and labyrinth structure.
Shimano's strong waterproof structure, which is proud of its water-repellent treatment and labyrinth structure that suppresses water intrusion. It solves the difficult problem of increasing waterproof effect without increasing rotational resistance. In addition, it uses a non-contact type seal, so it does not wear out and the waterproof effect lasts for a long time. Due to its light rotation, it can also be used in the line roller part, and the durability of the body part and the line roller bearing has been greatly improved.

NEW Magnum Light Rotor
Rotational inertia reduced by up to 14% and rigidity increased by up to 30%. A new rotor that realizes a new dimension of lightness in rotation. The symmetrical structure has been changed to an asymmetrical structure. The "veil return mechanism" that was installed on one side of the line roller has been moved to the cam side. The weight of the line roller has been reduced, the veil has been made of titanium, and the rotor thickness has been optimally positioned, successfully reducing inertia by up to approximately 14%. Carbon cross washer
The most durable drag washer material. The frictional heat caused by high load use and the change in drag characteristics due to this effect are very small, making this washer extremely durable. The slippage is excellent even under light loads.

G-free body
The worm shaft is placed above the drive gear, and a G-free body is used, which brings the center of gravity closer to the hand. Lightweight The weight of the rod is felt even lighter at a bodily level, allowing for aggressive fishing with excellent operability.

Large drag knob
Equipped with a large diameter drag knob. Highly maneuverable during the fight, it allows for precise drag adjustment, allowing the angler to fight as they wish.

Rigid support drag
The spool is supported by two bearings inside the main shaft spool, reducing spool wobble and providing stable, smooth drag performance.

Titanium one-piece bail
Equipped with a one-piece bail made of lightweight, high-strength titanium, with a seamless one-piece molding. It looks beautiful and is trouble-free.
