At the heart of the reel is the "X-SHIP" gear system, which transmits the input power without loss and enables more efficient winding. The rotational resistance has been eliminated by enlarging the gear diameter, revising the optimal position, and improving the tooth surface precision and support performance.
By strengthening the gear meshing, more direct reeling is possible, and the weight of winding, which has been considered a weakness of high gear types, is also eliminated.

The framework that encases the gear is equipped with a highly rigid "HAGANE" body. The body, which uses high-rigidity hybrid aluminum, is so strong that it can even be said to be over-specified, due to its design.
By ensuring the rigidity and impact resistance to withstand unexpected impacts and minimizing the deflection of the main body and legs, the force put into the handle by the angler is converted into the "power" to wind up without loss.

The rotor section is equipped with the X-Rigid rotor, which is well-known for its toughness, ensuring high rigidity. 3D analysis was repeated many times, and the thickness placement was carefully considered down to the smallest detail. Strong rigidity, durability, and excellent rotation balance were achieved.
Furthermore, the high rigidity achieved significantly reduces deflection. This action contributes to improving the functionality of each part, such as reducing the time lag when the drag starts to slide.

New handle support structure
Conventionally, multiple washers were used for the handle shaft. This caused power loss between the shaft flange, washer, and handle shank, but the NEW Twin Power SW uses a new shaft flange structure, making it possible to adopt a structure that does not require washers. This reduces power loss during winding and enables more direct power transmission.
In addition, the handle knob is standard equipment: EVA for the 4000 model, lightweight carbon material CI4+ for the 5000 to 8000 models, and lightweight hollow oval round for the 10000 to 14000 models.
