We asked Kojima, a professional guide with 20 years of experience in Hokkaido, if we could create a simple item to replace the fishing vest we're used to. Mr. Hideaki and Mr. Slygg teamed up to complete the "chest & backpack" project, which took four years from concept to prototype and repeated field testing.
From the beginning, we recognized the potential of chest bags and tested various chest bags on the market, but the limited size made it difficult to physically store rainwear and plastic bottles.
Therefore, we came up with the idea of integrating a chest bag and a backpack for the first time in the bag industry, and realized the storage capacity we were looking for.
