Additionally, the High Power X structure of the blank enables smooth and nimble jigging while providing the strength to pull large octopuses off the seafloor.

A rod that's too soft, focusing solely on octopus bites, can make it hard to differentiate between a snag and an octopus. The key is balancing a sensitive tip and a firm backbone.
