HAGANE Body
The highly rigid HAGANE body firmly supports the precision internal mechanism. It can withstand sudden impacts and minimizes deflection to reliably transmit the winding force, and despite its low-profile body, it provides a stable winding feel like a metal round reel.

X-SHIP
The advanced mechanism that gives shape to smoothness is X-SHIP. The gear system, which is the heart of rotation performance, has been completely redesigned, and the gears have been optimized, support performance has been improved, and rotational resistance has been eliminated to improve power transmission efficiency, resulting in improved gear feeling, strength, and durability.

Micro Module Gear
This mechanism is the first to be installed in a marine reel. By miniaturizing the teeth of the pinion and drive gears and closely meshing them, gear noise has been significantly reduced. Without reducing strength, we have succeeded in reducing gear noise to less than half of the conventional level with a smooth winding feel and power transmission.

Two types of power handle
The double handle is a 55mm long specification with a NEW EVA extra large knob, and the single handle is a 60mm long specification with an EVA knob. Both enable efficient power transmission and powerful winding, and the double handle has two handle knobs for easy handling. The single handle allows you to grip the handle knob firmly with your palm, so you can fight with big fish or retrieve heavier tackle without losing power, giving you a sense of security.

Exciting drag sound
Shimano's unique drag sound system allows you to enjoy the sound of the drag tension caused by the fish's pull when it hits. Not only does it make it easier to grasp the fish's pull and strength, making it easier to judge the key points of the game, but the exhilarating drag sound also lifts the angler's spirits. When fishing at night, the strength of the sound can also be used as a guide for interacting with the fish, allowing you to easily handle anxious fights.

SVS
Shimano's centrifugal brake system improves casting performance by suppressing backlash and quickly starting the spool rotation. When there is no reaction with vertical lures, you can cast sideways to search for points over a wide area and expand the hit zone, allowing you to fish aggressively.

70mm long crank handle
The 300PG/301PG is equipped with a 70mm long crank handle with an extra-large handle knob made of CI4+. It is suitable for flounder and red sea bream, as well as octopus and bluefish.

S3D spool
By completely reviewing the cutting method, the spool precision has been significantly improved. As a result, the quietness during casting has been improved.
