The "NEW CI4+ rotor" is designed to take advantage of its light weight and pursue light casting, and the line roller is equipped with "X-Protect". The smooth line winding feeling is sustained. The pinion gear, which is the heart of the reel, is made of high-strength brass pinion gear to enhance strength, and the Surf Leader CI4+ has improved the performance of a full-fledged casting reel, such as operability and durability. In addition to the SD35 equipped with a high-speed drag, the lightweight 30 is also available. It has achieved a weight of 370g while maintaining the functions of a full-fledged casting reel.

HAGANE Gear
The aim was to achieve an unchanging winding feel. A lump of metal is pressed under high pressure and finished with micron-level precision without cutting. The unique technology known as precision cold forging creates hard, tenacious gears, enabling a smooth winding feel.

X-Ship
Large diameter drive gear, optimal positioning of both pinion and drive gears,
2-point support by pinion gear bearings. These sturdy gear meshing maintains light reeling that is resistant to load.

Small and medium-sized general-purpose reels
For small and medium-sized general-purpose spinning reels that require lighter rotation, we have focused on a non-contact structure so as not to impair the lightness of rotation. In addition to the conventional water-repellent treatment, we have combined a labyrinth structure that prevents water from entering, achieving high waterproof performance while being non-contact. It is used in the stopper bearing and line roller parts.
Large saltwater reels
For large spinning reels that require higher waterproof performance, we have adopted a contact-type waterproof structure. By physically blocking the intrusion path of seawater with a low-sliding type seal material, we have achieved high waterproof performance while suppressing rotation resistance. It is used in the stopper bearing and line roller parts, and the stopper bearing part in particular achieves the waterproof standard equivalent to IPX8.

G Free Body
The sliding parts for moving the spool back and forth are placed on the top of the reel body, successfully moving the center of gravity of the entire reel closer to the hand. This improves the sense of unity with the rod, reduces fatigue during casting, and improves rod operability.

Parallel Body
When casting, the position relationship between the rod and reel remains the same, but the center line of the spool and the rod are made parallel to each other to prevent the line from hitting the rod, allowing for smooth line release and increasing casting distance.

CI4+
A new carbon material that is an evolution of the lightweight carbon material CI4. While maintaining its lightness, the rigidity and durability have been significantly improved, making it possible to make the reel smaller and lighter.

High Speed Drag
By using a special drag washer, the drag force can be adjusted from MIN to MAX with one turn of the knob. It is also effective for fishing with the rod placed on the ground.

SA-RB
By applying a special rust-proofing treatment to the bearing itself, durability against rust has been significantly improved. The S AR-B further seals the sides with anti-rust material, significantly reducing salt buildup caused by salt recrystallization inside the bearing.

One-piece veil
We have succeeded in manufacturing a seamless one-piece molded veil. It looks beautiful and is trouble-free.

X-PROTECT (line roller part)
We have developed a new waterproof structure specifically for the need for lighter rotation performance.
We are committed to a non-contact type that does not impair the lightness of rotation, and by combining a labyrinth structure that suppresses water intrusion in addition to the conventional water-repellent treatment, we have achieved high waterproof performance while being non-contact. Due to its lightness of rotation, it can also be used for line rollers, and the salt buildup resistance of line roller bearings has also been greatly improved.

CI4+ rotor
A new carbon material that is an evolution of the lightweight carbon material, CI4+. While maintaining the lightness of the CI4+, the rigidity and durability during actual fishing have been greatly improved. This allows the rotor to be made smaller and lighter.

Line Safety Guard
The "Line Safety Guard" is installed on the inside of the spool to prevent entanglement problems caused by line drop. A new structure that also focuses on the silhouette around the spool.
