This is a long shank model of ST-46. There are times when using ST-46, you might think, “A slightly longer shank would be better…” It’s a subtle point, but it often comes up with two-hook plugs. In reality, it’s just a slightly longer shank, but for example, when retrieving around the foamy areas for sea bass, even a slight increase in shank length can improve the hooking rate in situations where the fish are already difficult to catch.
