The TUNA SHOT 75 was the very first tuna rod completed by M. TANNO after establishing his private brand, following years of pursuing Pacific bluefin tuna through his own casting theory.

It was this very rod that landed a 196 kg tuna at Tappi in 2016. More importantly, however, this rod represents a cutting-edge design capable of turning many anglers’ dreams into reality.

Unnecessary elements have been stripped away—there is no excessive or extreme overspec feeling. Instead, it delivers perfectly balanced performance.

The flexible tip handles everything from small pencils to large 100 g+ pencil lures with ease. Once cast, the 7.5 ft length feels surprisingly manageable while delivering impressive casting distance. The proprietary guide setting minimizes line tangles, and when paired with balanced tackle, it maximizes the performance of PE lines in the #6–#10 class (especially recommended for #8–#10).

Although the rod appears slim at first glance, it has the power to confidently lift 40–50 kg class fish and the backbone to stand up to even larger tuna.
