The COOKAI CK-810MC was developed for urban rivers and harbor areas, guided by the most-requested baitcasting specs of our dynamic saltwater staff. Featuring a smooth tapered design with uniform tension from tip, belly to butt section, the CK-810MC is an easy extension of the arm. 5D blank construction significantly reduces blank shake after the cast, preventing PE line from wobbling excessively and contributing to backlash situations. Effective for finesse saltwater fishing with lightweight plugs, lift and fall with vibrations, drifting with minnows or shallow runners, etc., which require fine line tension and lure manipulation. Ergonomics are unique to the COOKAI baitcasting series, as it can detect short bites that occur while controlling the line tension during the fall or drift of the lure, and immediately meet them with a decisive hookset. This model epitomizes the next generation of seabass baitcasting rods.

TECHNOLOGY

DESTROYER 5-D GRAPHITE SYSTEM Version-S

The 5D Graphite System Version-S is an adaptation of the shaft technology pioneered by the Destroyer P5, which set a new standard in bass rod angling around the globe.
As the name implies, five prepreg cutting parts, each specializing in one of the five shaft elements (vertical, horizontal, diagonal, elongation, and elasticity), are combined as if they were puzzle pieces and pressed together into one shaft. By reducing the overlapping of the prepreg, we have succeeded in creating an overwhelmingly lightweight shaft with superb action and astonishing strength.
5D construction gets to the essence of the rod building ideal, eliminating un-needed graphite layers and overlap for maximum rod performance with minimum material usage, allowing COOKAI to bring you to new heights of the saltwater game.

ITO ENGINEERING HEAD LOCKING SYSTEM (PAT.P)

The head locking structure is machined from a solid aluminum block, optimized for rigidity to engage powerful targets in the sea. When fitted with a reel, it improves the rigidity of the butt section of the blank as well.
Light bites and subtle changes in lure action are transmitted from rod tip to reel seat with minimal loss of vibration, sending vital information to the angler's hands. The angler's senses are connected to the rod shaft in a direct manner, pursuing a new sense of equipment integration.

ITO TRIGER SYSTEM ERGONOMIC CASTING SEAT(D.PAT.)

The patented baitcasting trigger system encourages multiple grip-styles when casting, switching hands, working lures, and fighting targets, displaying exemplary ergonomic design. It is the ultimate in comfort and control in all gripping styles.
This is a full-contact gripping system that brings out the best in COOKAI's strong, lightweight shaft performance.

TITANIUM LIGHT FRAME/SiC-S GUIDE

All models are equipped with ultra-lightweight and high-strength titanium frame SiC-S guides carefully arranged to maximize the potential of Megabass' unique 5D construction.
We have introduced the ideal solution at this point in time, which is derived from test data spanning long distance castability, lure controllability, directability (sensitivity), line management, and stress dispersion of load capacity from 0°to 130° during the fight. This is the latest guide system.
