WILD SIDE is the debut bass rod series from LEGIT DESIGN, created as a statement piece that represents the brand itself. The two founders of LEGIT DESIGN have previously developed numerous bass rods for major national brands. So why did they choose to start their own company and pursue a new path in rod building?

The answer is simple: to chase their own ideal of what a rod should be. Rather than staying on a predetermined track, they deliberately chose a new and challenging path, fully aware of the risks involved.

The name WILD SIDE carries multiple meanings. Literally, it translates as “the wild side,” but in a broader sense, it becomes a deeply suggestive phrase.
“Walk on the wild side.”

We interpret these words as “have the courage to walk the path you believe in, even if it involves risk,” and it is with this philosophy that we named our very first bass rod series.
