Concept
Inshore game fishing has exploded in popularity in recent years. Its targets are wonderfully varied — bream-family fish centered on seabass and black porgy, plus flatfish like flounder and marbled sole. The Squad Inshore Game series is a versatile lineup, with blank, grip, and guide settings built to handle that whole range of targets.

Blank — A LEGIT DESIGN original blank, built mainly from 30-ton carbon with materials placed exactly where they're needed, refined through repeated testing to allow stress-free bottom winding.

Guides — A LEGIT DESIGN original guide setup, optimized through repeated testing. Fitted with SiC guides.

Detachable grip — Because the joint sits inside the grip, the blank keeps the same performance as a one-piece rod, so it feels completely natural even through a full day of repeated winding.

Grip — The reel seat area, which your hand is always in contact with, uses high-grade cork that resists slipping even when wet — letting you keep steady control of the rod even in harsh conditions, whether soaked by rain or sea spray.

Reel seat — Fitted with a Fuji TVS reel seat. Using a slim TVS reel seat for the grip makes it easy to hold and dramatically improves handling and sensitivity. On top of that, using a down-lock mechanism means the reel foot stays firmly locked in place even through the repeated large actions of bottom winding.
