“Iwashi Head”

The “Iwashi Head” is a fish head type jig head developed for saltwater games. With a low center of gravity, it can handle everything from mid-level swimming to bottom bumping. It can target a wide range of fish, including sea bass, rockfish, and black porgy. It is designed to be difficult to get rid of, with a flat, thick hook shank and a hook point that has been sharpened with a slug. In addition, the entire hook is nickel-plated, making it rust-resistant and sturdy. The design features a hook that is smaller than the head size, allowing you to send soft lures of about 4 inches to areas that conventional jig heads could not send. It comes with a press edge keeper, which prevents the worm from slipping out without destroying its details.

The “Iwashi Head” uses a hook with a “sleep” that has a hook point facing slightly inward.
