A thorough commitment to weight reduction in every detail, including the body, spool, and handle. The new standard for Daiwa small spinning reels was born by evolving the gear, which is the heart of the reel, and the material of the body that encases it to a tougher material, that is the LT.

MAGSEALED (Pinion part, Line roller part)
An innovative waterproof structure that shuts out seawater and foreign objects by creating a wall of magnetic "Mag Oil" in the gap between the body and rotor. Since the body and rotor are non-contact, the initial rotation performance is maintained for a long time while maintaining the light and smooth rotation. Since the introduction of reels equipped with Mag Sealed, the incidence of rotation abnormalities due to "salt jamming" or "foreign object contamination" has been greatly reduced, except for special cases such as submerging the reel in water. Moreover, the longer you use it, the more noticeable the difference becomes, showing that the waterproof and dustproof effects of Mag Sealed are at a very high level.

ATD [Automatic Drag System]
A new concept drag that starts smoothly and continues to work while following the squid's pull. It breaks away from the conventional drag as a "line breakage prevention device" and is developed as a drag that actively utilizes the drag to "reduce drag adjustment during the fight, prevent line breaks and catch squid faster." Eging is a fishing method in which the drag is exerted not only during the fight but also when jerking, and the feeling is used to grasp the field condition, so the drag is an essential part that directly affects the catch. A smoother drag operation is a major advantage.

AIR ROTOR [Air Rotor]
A rotor with a unique arch shape that symbolizes Daiwa's latest spinning reel. Freed from the need for waterproofing thanks to the Mag Sealed design, the load is distributed by the optimal rim structure, resulting in a significant weight reduction with the same strength as before. The rotor balance has also been improved, resulting in a responsive rotation.

Perfect Line Stopper
A new line stopper that can handle thinner and thicker lines. It stops the line more easily than previous stoppers.

Long Cast ABS
While retaining the idea of reducing backlash from ABS II, we have redesigned the contact point between the spool and the line release, successfully achieving a smooth casting feel and maximum casting distance. As a result, line trouble has been reduced compared to ABS II, and a 5% increase in casting distance has been achieved.
