ATD

ATD features
- Smoother start than before = less likely to break the line.
- Soft drag = less discomfort to the fish, prevents unnecessary violence.
- Unique stickiness in the action = less chance of the fish running away even at low drag settings, less frequent need to readjust the drag during a fight. Also, the fish can keep resisting, and even if it does run, it stops immediately.

It has been developed to break away from the conventional drag as a "line breakage prevention device" and actively utilize the drag to catch fish quickly without losing them.
When it was adopted for the Luvias, not only the drag parts such as washers and grease were transplanted, but also peripheral structures that were previously only used in the 15 Exist, such as a rattle prevention structure for the spool base, an extended main shaft to prevent the drag knob from wobbling, and a wave spring drag knob with a wider adjustment range that allows for finer adjustments, were also transplanted at the same time.
Also, a ball bearing in the drag section, which was not previously available, has been added to the main shaft side, achieving an even smoother drag start.

The rotor, freed from its role of waterproofing by the Mag Shield, has acquired a new form, and has achieved a significant weight reduction and responsive rotation while maintaining its strength. The Luvias Air Rotor is about 10% lighter than the previous model. This contributes to reducing the weight of the reel and further improving the rotation response. The Air Rotor realizes the rotation truly required in the field, which responds instantly to your will, rather than the desk rotation that is mistaken for smooth rotation due to inertia. The effect should be obvious especially for anglers who want sensitivity during delicate retrieval, such as area trout and sea bass.

AIR SPOOL & AIR SPOOL RING
Lightweight, strong, and surface hardness
As with the previous model, an air spool is used. By applying a metal coating to the special lightweight ABS material, lightness, strength, and surface hardness are achieved. The spool ring, which is an integral part of the spool, is metal-coated and then treated with titanium ion plating to ensure sufficient hardness for use as a spool ring. The idea of achieving both lightness and strength by making the inside from a lightweight material and covering the outside with a hard film is exactly the same as the hollow veil "Air Veil". In fact, the surface hardness of the metal coating used in this spool ring is higher than the stainless steel material used in the CERTATE spool ring. DOUBLE HANDLE MODEL
