HYPERDRIVE DESIGN
The next-generation design concept for bait (double-axis) reels, which significantly improves the standard of all basic performance with the aim of maintaining high initial performance for a long time. The Hyper Drive Design is composed of up to four technologies. This has realized the possibility of a new level wind not only when winding, but also when casting.

MAGSEALED BALL BEARING
DAIWA has succeeded in turning ball bearings themselves into mag-shields for the first time in the world using its unique technology. The magnetic liquid barrier prevents water and foreign matter from entering the ball bearing, and while maintaining the original rotational performance of the ball bearing, it significantly reduces rust, salt buildup, and abnormal noise.

ATD

MAG-Z BOOST is a distance-oriented setting that brings out the long-distance casting performance of MAGFORCE-Z to the limit. MAGFORCE-Z is not suitable for lightweight lures because it uses centrifugal force to activate the inductor rotor. On the other hand, it is ideal for long-distance casting of medium and heavy lures, and the casting distance increases with the input. And then the BOOST revolution. After avoiding the backlash zone, it instantly returns one step, achieving maximum casting distance with a smooth trajectory from the middle of the cast to just before landing on the water.

ZERO SHAFT
The spool is only supported by the bottom bracket. The shaftless design eliminates excess resistance and provides ideal spool rotation.

Zero Adjuster
First, adjust the "zero adjuster" and set the "zero spool rattle". Thanks to the evolution of the magnetic brake, it is now possible to control all lures with just the mag dial.

HLC CONCEPT

G1 duralumin spool
