Magsealed Ball Bearings
Magsealed is Daiwa's unique technology that blocks the intrusion of water and foreign objects from the outside with a strong film of magnetic fluid "Mag Oil". Magsealed ball bearings are equipped with this technology inside the bearing. Its greatest advantage is that it significantly eliminates salt adhesion, rust, and abnormal noise in ball bearings, and maintains the initial performance for a long period of time. Not only for reels, but for almost all ball bearings, the rotation performance deteriorates due to ball wear after a certain period of use. However, conventional ball bearings for reels often become unusable due to salt adhesion and rust before the balls wear out. This is especially true for electric reels, which are often splashed with water or operated with wet hands. Thanks to Magsealed, seawater and foreign objects are shut out, and the ball bearings can fulfill their "intrinsic life" without special maintenance. In addition, because of the non-contact structure in which Mag Oil fills the small gap between the inner ring and the pole plate, the rotation resistance is very small. The smooth rotation with almost zero friction lasts for a surprisingly long time without any special care. Equipped with a Mag Sealed ball bearing on the handle shaft, which is the most prone to salt damage and difficult to maintain.

1. Line up two 12V batteries and connect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals with the included battery serial cord.
2. Connect the power cord to the remaining terminals.
*The red cover clip is the positive (+) and the black cover clip is the negative (-).

This reel is an electric reel that supports direct current (DC) 24V. It cannot be used with power sources other than those specified (for example, household alternating current (AC) 100V or use of a 12V battery alone). In addition, the voltage of the ship's power source is prone to instability due to the generator and wiring, so the reel's protection circuit may activate and the rotation may stop or become intermittent. To get the most out of your reel, use a battery designed specifically for electric reels, such as the Daiwa Energy Pack.
