has claws made of worm material and a special half-umbrella type barbless triple hook made of fine wire on its body, which is secured with a single aluminum split pin. Madaku
floats in the water with an exquisite balance that is almost horizontal, and the claws move widely when swung up, making it highly appealing. The hook is made of fine wire, but has a shape that firmly bites into the octopus’s body, and is tempered to a hardness that allows it to stretch and be retrieved by slowly pulling it in the unlikely event that it gets snagged.
