- Depth Stop
This standard model features the basic "depth stop" function of a smelt reel with a counter.
- Depth Counter Correction
The counter value is corrected to match the fish finder's water depth with the reel's counter depth. Accurate depth determination is possible by checking the counter, even in conditions where the sinker is difficult to see.
- Selectable Gunwale Stop Function (3 Deceleration Speed Adjustment Patterns)
In addition to the traditional gunwale deceleration stop (Po2), you can choose from three options: power deceleration stop (Po3), which is effective when multiple large smelt are frequently hooked, and slow deceleration stop (Po1), which is effective when there are many breakaways near the shore or on ice (Po1: Slow, Po2: Normal, Po3: Power).
- All Settings Reset
If you experience frequent counter errors or are unsure how to operate the gunwale, you can reset it to its default settings.
- In addition to alkaline batteries, the reel can also be powered externally by using the CHRISTIA WAKASAGI External Power Unit AIR (sold separately).

Includes a hole for attaching the CHRISTIA WAKASAGI Funbaru Rec Plate
The CHRISTIA WAKASAGI Funbaru Leg (sold separately) can be attached to prevent the reel from lifting up during high-speed reeling. *The CRS+ is pictured.

Compatible with 5mm tips
Compatible with Φ5 (5mm diameter) tips. Insert the tip all the way into the mounting hole and ensure it is securely fastened. (Check occasionally during use as it may loosen due to vibration.) *The CRS+ is pictured.

Gunwale Stop Guide
The switch-type gunwale stop prevents over-winding of the rig and tangles the tip of the rod. *The photo shows the CRS+.

V-Spool
The "V" shape of the spool ensures even line winding and smooth line release when the rig is dropped. Equipped with two spool ball bearings for excellent rotation, it allows even light rigs to be dropped smoothly without snagging.

Line Stopper
Equipped with three line stoppers on the top of the spool. This convenient feature automatically stops the rig at the same depth each time you drop it by hooking the line at the depth where fish are most likely to bite. *The photo shows the CRS+.

Short spool screw prevents snagging during backlash

Clutch Lever
When the lever is pushed to the right, the clutch is "free" (the spool is free and the line can be released). When the lever is pushed to the left, the clutch is "locked" (the spool is locked and the line can be reeled in). (The spool can also be locked by pressing the reel switch on the side of the body.) *The photo shows the CRS+.

Quick Reeling/Continuous Reeling
A quick press of the reel switch on either side of the body activates the "quick reel" function. Holding the switch for more than one second activates "continuous reeling," which continues reeling even after you release your finger. To stop reeling, briefly press the switch again. *The photo shows the CRS+.

Large LCD Panel
The depth counter is clearly visible, and the "shelf stop" display is displayed on the LCD panel, so the currently set function is clear at a glance.

Backing Rope Attachment Hole
Attaching a backing rope is recommended in case of a fall. *The photo shows the CRS+.
