Salt Shield TM Bearings
By adopting a newly developed ball bearing with a water-repellent coating applied to the entire inside and outside, the salt jamming phenomenon that causes abnormal rotation noise has been drastically reduced.
We have succeeded in significantly improving the rotation feel and durability. (Used in the pinion gear and line roller parts)
HPCR Bearings
The bearings are made of high-performance corrosion-resistant material, improving durability, smoothness, and corrosion resistance.
It improves performance in all fishing situations.

Friction-Free
The new structure makes it easier to wind up the handle by improving the support structure of the main shaft. You can actively wind up even large fish with "one more turn".
In the conventional structure, the main shaft moved back and forth while rubbing against the inner surface of the pinion gear to turn the rotor, and this "rubbing" friction made winding heavy.
The support structure of the main shaft that moves the spool back and forth has been significantly improved, and the main shaft is supported on the reel body with a high-sliding bush.
There is a gap between the rotating pinion gear and the main shaft that moves back and forth, which eliminates contact friction on the inside of the gear (friction-free), making winding easier.

One-piece Feathermetal™ Gearbox
We have succeeded in integrating the body cover (side plate) used in conventional reels into the body.
By optimizing the size and weight of the entire body and adopting a one-piece Feathermetal™ (lightweight magnesium alloy) gearbox, the drive gear is supported by a single part, contributing to an optimal gear feeling without the axis center being shaken.

6 Carbon Stem
Abu Garcia's proprietary new material C6 Carbon is an engineering plastic reinforced with carbon fiber, and its rigidity is comparable to magnesium.
The adoption of this new material has achieved significant weight reduction without sacrificing strength and durability.

Rocket Line Management SystemTM
1. Spool Design - Abu Garcia's proprietary rocket spool lip releases the line more smoothly and evenly from the spool.
2. Oscillation System - The slow oscillation system allows the line to be wound more smoothly and evenly onto the spool at the optimal winding angle.
3. Bail - The Revo® series' unique bail opening angle controls the line into an optimal line loop when it is released from the spool lip, allowing the line to pass smoothly through the first stripping guide of the rod.

Aluminum Uniflow Bail
Lightweight due to the use of high-strength aluminum alloy. By smoothing the shape of the bail joint, problems such as thread tangles around the bail can be drastically reduced.

Duracarbon ™ Handle
By layering highly elastic carbon material, it contributes to high strength, light weight and improved sensitivity.

Carbon Matrix Drag
By adopting Abu Garcia's unique carbon matrix drag washer, it is possible to apply higher drag force while maintaining smooth performance over a wide range.

2WAY DRAG™
By changing the assembly order of the drag washers according to the type of fishing and fishing method, two settings, "Light" and "Tough", are possible.

Always-ON Instant Anti-Reverse
To improve the reliability of the stopper and prevent incorrect operation, the ON/OFF switching function of the instant anti-reverse has been removed.
By adopting a new clutch, the reverse prevention performance in winter fishing has been improved.

Sinker Keeper Included
Can be used as a sinker for down shot rigs, or as a keeper for jig heads, spoons, and other small lures.

Spool replacement parts kit included
Please use this parts kit when installing Abu works spool kits or Revo series spools released after 2016.
