ABU GARCIA Max5 SX Winch

The MAX5 SX WINCH is a high-cost-performance series model specialized for low-gear reeling, inheriting the ergonomic design concept inherited from the ZENON and Revo models in a 33mm diameter. The pin-lock side plate prevents the side plate from falling off. The PowerDisk™ drag system delivers a maximum drag force of 7kg. The 90mm bent aluminum handle features a one-piece molded soft-touch knob for a comfortable grip and smooth reeling.

Ergonomic Design
By offsetting the thumb rest toward the handle arm, you can grip deeper and more powerfully during a fight, preventing force dispersion and resulting in powerful, stable reeling. The clutch bar also features an asymmetrical design to prevent accidental "pressure" caused by interference with the palm of your hand when palming.

Pin-Lock Side Plate
The MAX5 SX WINCH uses a pin-lock system to prevent the lock lever from accidentally releasing and causing the side plate to come off. To remove the palm-side side plate, pull the pin on the crank side toward the handle and slide the palm-side side plate upward.

MagTrax™ Brake System
Abu Garcia's MAGTRAX brake prevents backlash with a reliable and simple design. The number of internal magnets can be adjusted to suit your casting skill. Its unique feature is that the brake engages reliably from the moment the lure is released, preventing backlash even when using lures with high air resistance in headwinds. It also enables pinpoint accuracy when pitching lightweight rigs or casting short distances. Five magnets are included by default.

90mm Aluminum Handle + One-Piece Soft-Touch Knob
This 90mm crank-shaped aluminum handle features a paddle handle knob with a one-piece molded knob base and a highly elastic material on the surface for a high grip and comfortable feel.

33mm Diameter Spool
The 33mm outer diameter spool and compact body design are designed to fit comfortably in Japanese hands. Capable of handling a wide range of fishing conditions, with a 16lb-100m capacity and PE3-100m capacity.
