ABU GARCIA Max 5 Elite Rocket-L

The MAX5 ELITE ROCKET is a rocket gear reel that inherits the ergonomic design concept of the ZENON and Revo, while maintaining a 33mm diameter. It features a gear ratio of 9 and a maximum line capacity of 93cm. Pinlock side plates prevent the side plates from falling off. The Carbon Matrix drag system with drag clicker ensures smooth performance.

Ergonomic Design
By offsetting the thumb rest toward the handle arm, you can grip the reel more firmly and firmly during a fight, preventing force dispersion and resulting in a powerful and stable reel. The clutch bar also features an asymmetrical design to prevent accidental "pushing" when palming.

C6 Carbon Frame & Crank Side Plates
Abu Garcia's proprietary C6 Carbon frame and crank side plates are used for the frame and crank side plates. This carbon fiber-reinforced engineering plastic significantly reduces weight without sacrificing strength or durability.

Carbon Matrix Drag with Drag Clicker
Abu Garcia's proprietary carbon matrix drag washer allows for higher drag force while maintaining smooth performance over a wide range. The clicker lets you hear the drag's speed and allows you to keep an eye on line breaks while casting.

Crank Side Plate Palm Side Plate
The MAX5 ELITE ROCKET uses a pin lock system to prevent the locking lever from accidentally releasing and the side plate from coming off. To remove the palm side side plate, pull the crank side plate pin toward the handle (left photo) and slide the palm side side plate up (right photo).

MagTrax™ Brake System
Abu Garcia's MAGTRAX brake prevents backlash with a simple, reliable design. You can also adjust the number of internal magnets to suit your casting skill. Its unique feature is that the brake engages reliably the moment the lure is released during casting, preventing backlash even when using lures with high air resistance in headwinds. It also allows for pinpoint accuracy when pitching lightweight rigs or casting short distances. It comes with five magnets by default.

90mm Aluminum Handle + Large Paddle Knob
Equipped with a 90mm aluminum handle and large handle knob for powerful reeling and aggressive fighting with big fish.

33mm Diameter Spool
The 33mm outer diameter spool and compact body design are designed to fit comfortably in Japanese hands. It can handle a wide range of fishing styles, with a capacity of 16lb-100m and PE3-100m.
