In addition to reducing its weight, the 24LUVIAS has improved its weight balance to improve its heaviness, giving it an "evolved lightness."
The 24LUVIAS SF series has been added to the 24LUVIAS series, which adopts the "SF Concept," a spinning reel design concept that allows control in the super finesse range, far beyond previous finesse.

While inheriting Daiwa technology that supports the basic performance of the LUVIAS LT, such as the Air Drive design, which is the design concept of next-generation spinning reels, as well as the ZAION monocoque body and Mag Sealed, we have deliberately abandoned some of the durability and versatility to make it thoroughly compact and lightweight, even limiting the targets and usable lines.

The SF2000 size weighs 135g, and the SF2500 size weighs 140g, making it lightweight.

We want more anglers than ever before to experience the super finesse range opened up by the EXIST SF and AIRITY SF.

Differences between LUVIAS SF and LUVIAS LT:

20% drag performance improvement
By shortening the spool, the variation in resistance when releasing the line is suppressed. Furthermore, by changing the maximum drag force to 3kg, the adjustment range in the low drag range, which is important in finesse fishing, is expanded, allowing for more optimal drag fine-tuning.

Casting distance/swing speed 7%/12% increase
By combining the ultra-light tackle SF2500SS and STEEZ RC61L-SV, the swing speed is about 12% higher than with existing tackle. This improves the long casting performance of lightweight lures. When casting the same distance, you can cast with less force, which improves casting accuracy.

Significant weight reduction
By making the body about 15% more compact, significant weight reduction has been achieved (LT2500S = 150g vs. SF2500SS = 140g).

Sensitivity increased by approximately 16%
By designing the internal parts specifically for SF, such as reducing the diameter of the main shaft, vibration transmission performance has been improved.

Precautions for using the SF series:

1) Do not wind the line with strong tension. When winding the line, we recommend winding it with a line tension of about the recommended tension. (Recommended tension: 100g for nylon, fluoro, and ester lines, 200g for PE lines) Winding the line with excessive tension can lead to deformation of the spool and rotation problems.

2) We recommend setting the drag to 800g or less. Winding the line under high load can lead to rotation problems. Be especially careful when winding the line with a reel to remove a snag or retrieving a lure that has become covered in seaweed. Also, please be careful not to overtighten the drag knob as it may lead to damage.

3) It was developed with nylon, fluoro, and ester lines up to about 4lb, or PE lines up to about 0.6, but the strength standard is specialized for SF (super finesse), so please be careful when using it.

Stopperless body
The body structure has been simplified by removing the stopper. The decision to remove the stopper, which is a route for water and foreign objects to enter, not only reduces weight and improves waterproof performance, but also minimizes the misfortune of sudden trouble in harsh environments and when dealing with large fish, which are required for 24LUVIAS.

Perfect line stopper
A new shape of line stopper that is compatible with thin lines such as PE and thick lines such as leaders. The horizontal shape saves space vertically and contributes to reducing the weight of the spool.
