This philosophy has been maintained by every CERTATE reel model. It combines comfortable operability for all users with reliable rigidity that ensures worry-free performance. While maintaining these same basic performance features, the CERTATE HD now features an aluminum rotor.

The unique Air Drive Rotor, designed as if carved from a sphere, has been successfully developed to utilize an aluminum rotor while maintaining the low inertia and comfortable operability essential for compact spinning reels. The synergistic effect with the full metal (AL) monocoque body results in unprecedented rigidity, excellent reeling performance, and the rotational feel that only metal can provide. This special edition is particularly effective when fighting large fish, where power is crucial, or when retrieving lures with high reeling resistance, such as metal vibes, blade jigs, and large minnows. For this reason, the lineup has been deliberately limited, from 3000 to 5000.

Furthermore, the CERTATE HD boasts reinforcements and materials carefully selected for rugged use, including an ATD TOUGH with a highly durable carbon washer, a high-strength stainless steel drag knob nut, a crank bail that ensures reliable line feeding to the line roller, and a newly designed MagShield line roller with improved waterproofing.

It's not just about the numbers. The HD also boasts an emotional texture. The black exterior is adorned with a brilliant sheen thanks to a new paint job. Two additional ball bearings have been added, bringing the total to 12. From the body to the rotor, the CERTATE HD boasts high rigidity and excellent reeling performance thanks to its entire metal construction.

The 26CERTATE HD's ultra-super duralumin MC Tough Digigear is cold-forged for high strength and machine-cut to achieve the ideal gear. Additionally, the drive gear undergoes a special surface treatment to increase its surface hardness, reducing the adverse effects of unexpected force. Furthermore, the larger LT3000, LT4000-C, LT5000-C, and LT5000 XH gear models, which are expected to be subject to heavy gear loads, newly adopt the high-strength pinion gear proven in models like the Saltiga for maximum safety.

AIRDRIVE BAIL: "Even More Trouble-Free"
For many years, the Air Bail featured on DAIWA spinning reels has employed a hollow pipe structure that provides lightweight and rigidity. Furthermore, its unique shape smoothly guides the line to the line roller, enabling trouble-free reeling. To further reduce weight, the Air Drive Bail has been slimmed down while maintaining the necessary strength. It also features an optimal bail angle for a smoother line transition from the bail to the line roller. This not only supports the performance of the Air Drive Rotor, but also makes it even lighter and more trouble-free. The 26CERTATE HD employs a crank-shaped AIRDRIVE BAIL to smoothly guide the line to the line roller, even when using heavier jigs.
