TIEMCO TMC5212 #6 Small Pack (20pcs)

This is a dry fly version of the 5262. It is often used when you want to float medium-sized or larger stoneflies, caddis, or terrestrials such as grasshoppers without winding them too thickly. Because it has a 2X long shank, a mayfly tied on #12 is virtually the same size as one tied on #10 of the 5210, but in this case, the gape and wire are two sizes lighter, so it has the advantage of being less likely to sink. This is one way to float large dry flies with a thin hackle.
