A new concept hook with a “U” shaped dolphin shank. When most floating nymphs and emergers are floating on the water surface, their bodies are in a straight line at a shallow angle to the water surface. The dolphin shank can realistically reproduce this posture. Also, when using a parachute pattern, if the post is placed at the top of the “U” shape, the entire hook will be below the water surface, hiding the tippet from the fish.
