The second generation of the Kayak Fishing model, designed as a highly versatile rod that compensates for limited gear capacity and lure selection in kayak fishing environments.

Developed under the concept of “reducing gear while maintaining maximum versatility,” the Oikaze series introduces a multi-purpose spinning model capable of handling both casting and vertical fishing styles.

Co-developed with kayak fishing specialist Funky Yamaoka, who is also experienced in various offshore game styles, this rod reflects real-world constraints of kayak fishing—where anglers typically carry only minimal equipment due to limited space. Most setups allow for only one or two rods, making a true all-rounder essential.

Storage space is often restricted to a small tackle box placed in a life jacket pocket or seat compartment, reinforcing the need for a rod that can cover multiple fishing styles efficiently.
